I’m trying to make room at home and organize space in a better way. I would like to eliminate as much as possible or at least those useless things that I accumulate.

Making room is really one of the needs that I feel most in this period. Surely my desire has some deep and psychological meaning!

I’ve made a list of 15 books dedicated to organizing space at home, tidying up, to learn how to throw away what you don’t need and make some decluttering.

Francesc Zamora Mola, Smart spaces, Storage at home

Rebecca Winword, Everthing in its space. Storage for Stylish Homes

Talking about organization and tidying up we have to include Marie Kondo and her bestseller The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up.

Nagisa Tatsumi, The Art of Discarding: How to Get Rid of Clutter and Find Joy.

Hideko Yamashita, Dan-Sha-Ri.

Dominique Loreau, L’infinitamente poco.

Mary Lambert, Ogni cosa al suo posto e un posto per ogni cosa.

Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan, Apartment Therapy

Melissa Michaels, Simple Organizing, The Inspired Room e Love the Home you Have.

Love illustrations in The Perfectly Imperfect Home di Deborah Needleman, the founding editor of Domino Magazine. How to decorate and live well.

Erin Boyle, Simple Matters. Living With Less and Ending Up With More

C’è anche il Quaderno d’esercizi per liberarsi delle cose inutili, Alice Le Guiffant e Laurence Paré.

Dominique Loreau, L’arte delle liste.

Have you already read something about ordering and tidying up? Do you have any other book to recommend? It’s time to organize!
