Julie Blyfield is one of the most famous Australian jewelry artists. Her work is entirely inspired by nature. Walks in the countryside become great sources of inspiration. Flowers, leaves, branches, rocks… everything hides beautiful textures and precious details that she reproduces in her jewels working with chisel.

Julie creates silver jewellery after a careful study with lots of sketches and drawings.

Julie Blyfield’s creations are in some museum collections such as the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra, the Musée des Arts Decoratifs in Paris and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

We can admire Julie Blyfield’s creations at the Irene Belfi gallery in Milan at the Flora exhibition, the first Australian artist solo show in Italy, until November 30th, via Nino Bixio 12.
