From today until Sunday, May 13, Orticola will be at the Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli in Porta Venezia (entrance from Via Manin/piazza Cavour), a great market exhibition dedicated to plants and flowers.

Here you can find the most beautiful varieties of flowers and plants, geraniums with the strangest fragrances (from pineapple to cinnamon or nutmeg), the most bizarre aromatic herbs (the thyme-orange is incredible), the most beautiful aquatic plants, the most precious roses, citrus fruits of every type and form, fragrant and giant peonies, ornamental sages…

Here you can find many inspirations but also real botanical lessons and free advices on proper cultivation.

Yesterday evening there was the opening on invitation only, one of the most exclusive event in Milan, a kind of a Milanese version of Ascott where ladies of all ages wear floral hats and super creative outfits. I love go there and spot the most weird hat of the edition!

The Orticola entrance costs €11 (free up to 16 years), it’s also the perfect opportunity to buy a special plant for Mother’s Day!

At Orticola you’ll also find CasaFacile magazine with free creative workshop here you can find the complete program.
