Here is the blog post for you: I have collected here 30 – and I mean thirty! – gift ideas all about design under 200 euros, starting from 34 euros!

Eclisse, Vico Magistretti, 1965
The perfect bedside lamp: designed in 1965 by Vico Magistretti for Artemide and Compasso d’Oro in 1967.
This year it acquires a particular value because it is 100 years of Vico Magistretti!
Lampadina, Achille Castiglioni, 1972
This year Flos presents, for the first time, the legendary Lampadina by Achille Castiglioni in new colors: in addition to the classic orange and black, it will be also in violet, white, turquoise and green.
The anodized aluminum base it’s also available now in a black version.
On the Bazar Corraini webshop there are beautiful “design kit” with the flip books “Castiglioni in 2 seconds”, the hree flip books with Ventosa lamp (€ 100) and another one with the Castiglioni brother’s switch (€ 50).

The Maiorca pencil holder designed by Bruno Munari for Danese in 1958 is a very nice gift idea, a small desk design icon!

The legendary Kartell modular cabinets, designed in 1967 by Anna Castelli Ferrieri in ABS, an innovative material at the time, are now proposed in the new edition in pastel colors and new material: biopolymer.

Falkland lamp, Bruno Munari, 1964
Iconic light designed by Bruno Munari for Danese in 1964 inspired by Japanese lamps.

Micro Tolomeo, Michele De Lucchi/Giancarlo Fassina, 1987
Tolomeo is one of Artemide’s most famous lamps, a true icon. The micro version with clamp is a great gift idea (at a small price).

Portable lamp Panthella, Verner Panton, 1971
The Panthella Portable lamp is a wireless version of an iconic lamp designed in 1971 by Verner Panton. Panton’s idea was to create a structure that diffuses light from every surface. An icon of Scandinavian design.

Unikko is the most famous Marimekko pattern designed in 1964 by the Finnish designer Maija Isola. Now it’s everywhere from cushions to teapot, cups, textiles…

A few months after Enzo Mari’s death, giving a piece of design designed by him is a wonderful idea.
Formosa calendar, Enzo Mari, 1963
In 1963 Enzo Mari designed the Formosa wall calendar for Danese.

The DLM (Don’t Leave Me) coffee table is the nordic version of our iconic and historical Cicognino designed by Franco Albini in 1953.
Same idea: grabbing it by the handle you can carry it around the house.

The Formakami suspension lamp is one of the most iconic pieces of the Nordic brand & Tradition, designed by the designer Jaime Hayon. In rice paper, it is inspired by Japanese lanterns.

Posture n.1 vase, Bloc Studios
Very elegant and beautiful, the vase sculpture Posture n.1 by Bloc Studios is hand made in white Arabescato marble and brass.
Inspired by the series of photographs “Posture” by the artist Carl Kleiner, the series of vases was born from the collaboration between Kleiner and Bloc Studios in search of the perfect “pose” for beautiful flowers.
