Since ancient times women have always adorned themselves with flowers. In our imagination, a fragrant wreath of flowers has the charm of beautiful Polynesian and faraway beaches. A flower garland is way more beautiful than any precious jewel!

The American designer Gahee Kang offers flower rings, mini bouquets to wear on fingers. They are called Ikebana, honoring the Japanese art of flower arrangement.

I had seen prototypes of Ikebana rings at the Rossana Orlandi gallery during Fuorisalone 2014 and now they are available online on Areaware (€ 44.25).

You can change completely the look of the ring choosing different flowers and shape of the composition. Ikebana ring can change with seasons too: imagine it with Autumn colors leaves, with berries in Winter, Spring-scented flowers and small fruits in the Summer…

We can save this directly in the Christmas gift ideas, don’t you think?
