Ikea has presented two new collections: Jassa (in Italy from March, 3) and Spridd (in Italy from February, 3).
Jassa collection
Jassa collection is my favorite one! It is inspired by Summer and South-East Asia. It is designed by the Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek and Ikea designers Nike Karlsson, Iina Vuorivirta and Paulin Machado.
Furniture, home décor and fabric inspired by Indonesian Batik. I’ve met one of the designers, the young Iina Vuorivirt and it was a pleasure to see her passion and how they worked to bring handmade to the big Ikea distribution.
Armchairs, sofa, chaise-longue in rattan, coffee table, bamboo screen, rugs, baskets and vases, beautiful cushions. I love also these images that bring South-East Asian inspiration to Morocco with mint tea and decorated tiles.
I couldn’t resist and I immediately bought something… some cushions and vases… here they are, aren’t they beautiful?
Spridd collection
With Spridd collection we are back in our contemporary cities. Spridd is realized in collaboration with the British fashion designer Kit Neale made famous by his funny pattern:
This Ikea collection is more oriented to kids with bold colors and drawings. There are also two big new entries: camping tents and t-shirt!
The collection has very interesting prices too: mugs € 3,99, boxes € 8,90, rugs € 39,99, travel bags € 19,99, maxi cushions lining €17,99.
I already bought something from this collection too… a mug and the pink travel bag! 😉
Happy weekend!
