The trend of the moment about centerpieces is to divide the flowers in small pots. No more bulky compositions that often impede the conversation and hello to small and gracious composition running across the table.

This is the perfect diy to use all the glass jars we kept… please, tell me that you do it, too! Filippo, my husband says that I have a problem with the cans… I have an entire kitchen cabinet dedicated exclusively to my collection of jars… maybe he’s right!

First of all choose jars of different heights and sizes and distribute flowers in an irregular manner. The effect it would be like if the composition is totally random … très chic! You can choose the wildflowers (my favorite) or a bouquet of flowers from the florist. You do not need a large number of flowers to make this composition type and remember to add some leaves!

Last touch: embellished and softened the jars with ribbons. If you want more a country style, choose the jute or natural tones, instead if you are preparing a centerpiece for an elegant dinner I recommend satin and tulle.

Enjoy!
