Ornella Corradini is a papier-mâché artist who has transformed the most iconic buildings in Milan into miniature reproductions.
TheBosco Verticale, the Golden Tower of the Prada Foundation, Casa Manzoni, Gio Ponti’s house in Via Dezza, the Gucci’s wall-art with Marina Abramovic, the Riccardo Catella Foundation, Porta Ticinese… these and others are the Milanese buildings of the Milan Paper Buildings project. They are all unique pieces made entirely by hand with paper, cardboard and flour paste, using the ancient technique of papier-mâché.
During the next Fuorisalone 2019, from 9 to 14 April, the Milan Paper Buildings of Ornella Corradini will be exhibited in the Milan Icons store in the Isola district, via Pastrengo 7.
Milan Icons creates collection and collaborations dedicated to Milan working since about three years with collaborations with illustrators, creatives and artists. The Milanese papier-mâché buildings were born from the collaboration with Milan Icons.
