Ci siamo, eccoci alla settimana del design! Finalmente è arrivata! Grandi preparativi, molto fermento come sempre, si aspettano 300.000 visitatori in una settimana. Da domani si comincia, scarpe comode e via!
Here we are, this is the design week! Finally it’s here! Great preparations, great success, Milan is waiting for 300.000 visitors in one week. Tomorrow everything begins, comfortable shoes and let’s go!
Ecco le mie ultime highlights da non perdere:
– Nuovo allestimento del Triennale Design Museum: Il design italiano oltre la crisi, l’autarchia degli anni ’30, l’austerità degli anni ’70 e la crisi degli anni Zero. Se alla fine della giornata di martedì 8 aprile avrete ancora forze potete partecipare all’inaugurazione ufficiale! Evento a ingresso libero, ore 19-24.
– Andrea Branzi. Solid Dream. Clio Calvi e Rudy Volpi. Via Pontaccio 8. Inaugurazione questa sera, lunedì 7 aprile ore 19.00
– Charlotte Perriand fotografa e designer. Galleria Carla Sozzani. Corso Como 10.
– Mostra fotografica Green Island Landscaping sui lavori di Piet Oudolf, paesaggista olandese. Un esempio dei suoi lavori su tutti? La High Line di New York. La sua filosofia: la rivincita delle erbacce! Mostra fotografica nell’atrio della Stazione Garibaldi e all’interno del giardino di Via Terraggio 5.
– Se avete tempo alla Mediateca di Santa Teresa verranno proiettati i documentari Rai Educational Lezioni di Design. Via Moscova 28.
– Interessanti anche le iniziative dell’AIS/Design – l’Associazione Italiana degli Storici del Design – che organizzano tour guidati ai luoghi del design: fondazioni, archivi e istituti. E’ possibile prenotare tramite e-mail a [email protected] fino alle ore 12.00 del giorno precedente. Costo 10 €.

– The new set-up of the Triennale Design Museum: The Italian design beyond the crisis, the autarky of Thirties, the austerity of the Seventies and the crisis of the Zero years. The opening will be on Tuesday, April 8th, 7 p.m. – 12 a.m. Free entrance.
– Andrea Branzi. Solid Dream. Clio Calvi e Rudy Volpi. Via Pontaccio 8. Opening this evening, Monday, April 7th, 7 p.m.
– Charlotte Perriand photographer and designer. Carla Sozzani Gallery. Corso Como 10.
– Photographic exhibition Green Island Landscaping – Piet Oudolf works. Oudolf is a Dutch landscape architect. An example of his works? The New York High Line. His philosophy: the weed revenge! Exhibition in the Garibaldi Station atrium and in the park in Via Terraggio 5.
– If you have time you can go to the Santa Teresa Mediateca, you would see Rai Educational documentary: design lessons. Via Moscova 28.
– The AIS/Design – Italian organization of Design historians – will organize guided tours in design places: foundation, archives, institutes. You can make a reservation by e-mail to [email protected] since 12 p.m of the day before. Prize 10 €.
