É finalmente ora di pensare al weekend! Avete già programmi? Se state pensando a una gita fuori porta ho una magnifica proposta per voi: Villa Carlotta a Tremezzo, sul lago di Como. E’ un posto stupendo, una villa seicentesca con una bellissima collezione d’arte, ci sono capolavori di Canova, Thorvaldsen e Hayez. Ma non è finita qui! Villa Carlotta è famosa per il suo giardino botanico. 70.000 mq di verde! É la stagione perfetta per andare ad ammirare rododendri e azalee in fiore!
It’s finally the moment of the week in which we can think about the weekend! Do you already have any plan? Villa Carlotta, in Tremezzo, Como lake, could be the perfect destination! It’s an awesome villa with a great art collection, here you can see masterpieces by Canova, Thorvaldsen and Hayez. But there is much more: there is a huge park, an amazing botanic garden and this is the perfect time to visit it with rhododendron and azalea in bloom!
Passeggiare in questi giardini è meraviglioso, è un posto dove venivo anche da piccola, ho dei bellissimi ricordi qui! Si ha una vista magnifica del lago di Como, fiori da ogni parte, piante centenarie, capolavori d’arte, e giardini all’italiana. Un glicine immenso e un pergolato di agrumi… vi potete immaginare il profumo?
Walk around this garden is amazing, I used to come here with my parents when I was a child, I have beautiful memories of the garden! From Villa Carlotta you have an outstanding view of the Como lake, flowers everywhere, centenary trees, masterpieces of art and Italian Reinassance gardens. There is also a huge wisteria and an entire arbour with lemons and oranges… can you imagine the fragrance?
