Vorrei farvi vedere un piccolo DIY che ho fatto questa estate per il compleanno di mia mamma: un biglietto d’auguri ricamato! Ho prima disegnato quello che volevo ricamare e l’ho riportato sul cartoncino con un punteruolo (per bucare senza far fatica mi sono aiutata appoggiandomi su una spugna!).
I would like to show you a DIY project that I did this summer for my mum’s birthday: an embroidered greeting card! First of all I sketched what I wanted and I copied on the cardboard using a punch (to punch easily I put under the cardboard a sponge!).
Ho cominciato a cucire usando ago e filo normalmente. Con i diversi fili colorati ho seguito il disegno fatto.
I stitched using as always needle and thread. Using several colored sewing threads I stitched the sketch.
Per finire basta piegare e incollare il cartoncino in modo che non si vedano più i fili del ricamo! Un progetto molto rapido e facile con effetto assicurato!
And at the end you have just to fold and glue the cardboard to hide the sewing threads! A very quick and easy project but very impressive!
E con un biglietto così chissà che regalo!!
And with such a greeting card who knows how great was the gift!!
