C’è chi per il compleanno desidera vestiti, libri, una taglierina elettrica (…), soldi, oggetti… e chi vuole… l’Aurora Boreale! Questo sognatore l’ho sposato! Ebbene sì, mio marito per il suo 30esimo compleanno vuole l’Aurora Boreale! E quindi eccoci in partenza per l’Islanda a caccia delle Northern Lights!
People for their birthday wish clothes, books, electronic cutting tool (…), money, stuff… and there is someone who wishes the Aurora Borealis! I married this dreamer! Yes, my husband for his 30th birthday wants the Aurora Borealis! And here we are ready to go in Iceland for a Northern Lights hunt!
Siamo già stati in Islanda ma non avevamo visto l’Aurora Boreale. Non è facile trovarla, servono determinati requisiti: deve fare molto freddo (molto bene…), deve essere sereno, il momento dell’anno giusto (in Islanda da ottobre a marzo) e deve essere buio.
We have already been in Iceland, but we missed the Aurora. It’s not easy to see it. The ideal conditions to see them are when it’s very cold (lucky me…), the sky has to be clear, the right season (the official Aurora season in Iceland is from October till March) and dark outside.
Le premesse ci sono tutte, ora c’è solo da sperare di avere un pò di fortuna e riuscire a vedere questo spettacolare fenomeno naturale. L’Aurora Boreale con le sue luci brillanti e magiche sarebbe proprio un bellissimo regalo di compleanno! Un compleanno da ricordare!!
We have the chance: with luck on our side, we may be able to spot this beautiful and elusive natural phenomenon. Vivid and bright, the dancing Northern Lights would be really a great birthday gift! A Birthday to remember!!
