Vi ricordate che vi avevo già parlato dei vasi di Chen & Kai? … Mamma che coincidenza, era il 12 marzo 2014. E’ stato subito amore ed esattamente un anno e 3 giorni dopo finalmente ho messo le mani sul mio primo vaso in cemento by Chen Chen & Kai Williams! A dire il vero parliamo di due! Questo il bottino del nostro ultimo giro a New York City!

Do you remember of Chen & Kai vases I’ve spoken in this post?… OMG, what a coincidence: it was March 12, 2014. 1 year and 3 exactly day later I had my first Chen Chen & Kai Williams concrete vase! Actually I have two vases! This is my booty from our last trip to New York City!

Una domenica pomeriggio ho trascinato in giro tutti per Soho e Chinatown fino a che non abbiamo trovato il vaso avocado! Trovavamo ananas, meloni, pompelmi ma io ormai ero davvero fissata con l’avocado. Tipo Santo Graal l’abbiamo trovato nell’ultimo negozio: Coming Soon. Un bellissimo gioiellino in Orchard Street.

In a Sunday afternoon I dragged everyone around Soho and Chinatown until we finally found the avocado vase! We had seen lots of pineapple, water melon, cantaloupe vases but I really wanted the avocado! At the end of the afternoon we finally found it at Coming Soon, a really nice shop in Orchard Street.

Tanti tanti avocado qui! Ovviamente questo ha comportato un’altro problema: che colore prendere? Dopo una lunga riflessione ho scelto per il rosa e un bellissimo vaso-horned melon. Horned melon… melone cornuto… ho appena scoperto che si chiami Kiwano. Comunque sia è bellissimo!

Lots and lots of avocados here! Obviously this became a problem: which color do I want? After a really looong consideration I picked a pink avocado and a beautiful horned melon vase.
