As I mentioned you last week Friday I was in Turin for the opening of Operae, the independent design festival. This was the fifth edition of the festival. The location this year was Torino Esposizioni, architecture with great charm. It was designed in 1936 by Ettore Sottsass senior and Pier Luigi Nervi. The location was been closed for years. Finally it’s back to life, I hope this would be the first of many events.

The self-produced publishing area was very small but with very interesting things. I was really hypnotized by something exhibited by Print About Me. A red lens reveals pages from the book “24 Senza Testa”. Super simple but beautiful is the Giracolore by Raffaele Cesano. Looking at this everyone can get back to childhood!

Interessanti i tavoli del tedesco Jacob Timpe.
