{"id":31568,"date":"2017-12-13T07:30:58","date_gmt":"2017-12-13T06:30:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gucki.it\/?p=31568"},"modified":"2017-12-13T00:32:56","modified_gmt":"2017-12-12T23:32:56","slug":"carded-wool-polka-dot-to-change-the-look-to-an-old-sweater","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gucki.it\/en\/diy-doityourself-en\/carded-wool-polka-dot-to-change-the-look-to-an-old-sweater\/","title":{"rendered":"Carded wool polka dot to change the look to an old sweater"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I replaced my summer clothes with winter clothes in my wardrobe I&#8217;ve found\u00a0an old sweater that I am very fond of all ruined by moths but then I had an idea: I wouldn&#8217;t have done trying to fix it with &#8220;camouflage&#8221; stitches but rather, I would have tried something that will transform it entirely!<\/p>\n<p>I had at home <strong>carded wool<\/strong> (bought years ago <a href=\"https:\/\/gucki.it\/2015\/03\/03\/abilmente-cosa-ho-comprato\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">at the Abilmente fair in Vicenza<\/a>), I had never tried this technique but armed with a <strong>mat needle<\/strong> in few minutes I transformed the old sweater with <strong>3D polka dots!<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31548\" src=\"https:\/\/gucki.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/gucki-come-aggiustare-vecchio-maglione-lana-10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1606\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gucki.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/gucki-come-aggiustare-vecchio-maglione-lana-10.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/gucki.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/gucki-come-aggiustare-vecchio-maglione-lana-10-224x300.jpg 224w, https:\/\/gucki.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/gucki-come-aggiustare-vecchio-maglione-lana-10-765x1024.jpg 765w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is what you need:<\/strong><br \/>\nmat needle<br \/>\ncarded wool<br \/>\nsponge (it will work fine even a simple kitchen sponge)<\/p>\n<p>You should work on the back but to get (in a quick way) the <strong>3D effect<\/strong> I worked from the right side of the sweater. To decorate the sweater with polka dots it&#8217;s important to distribute them randomly but homogeneously, would you like to\u00a0hear a trick?
