John F. Kennedy was born in Massachusetts on May 29, 1917, his grandfather was been the Boston mayor.
\nHere on the East Coast you can discover the story of\u00a0John F. Kennedy and his family<\/strong>. From the family house (today it’s a museum) in Brookline<\/a>, a small city center near Boston, through\u00a0Harvard<\/strong> where JFK attended in 1936 (you can easily go to Cambridge – where the university is located – by\u00a0few minutes of\u00a0subway from downtown Boston) to\u00a0122 Bowdoin Street that was Kennedy’s headquarters during the election campaign.
\nYou can also see the JFK bronze statue in front of the Massachusetts State House or visit Rose Kennedy Greenway, the park dedicated\u00a0to the memory of President Kennedy’s mother.

Definitely you have to\u00a0visit the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum<\/strong><\/a>: overlooking the bay it is dedicated to his memory. The beautiful building was built between 1977 and 1979 by Ieoh Ming Pei (the architect of the Pyramid of the Louvre) and contains over 400,000 photographs<\/strong> of the period 1910-1983, about 2 million meters of film from the period 1910-1983 and 11,000 audio recordings from\u00a0the period 1910-1985.<\/p>\n

Here you can\u00a0discover the entire\u00a0John F. Kennedy’s life until his death<\/strong> (the exhibition\u00a0ends just before Dallas) and is full of historical memorabilia, clothes and even a faithful reproduction of the White House interior.<\/p>\n

But there is no other place that\u00a0evoke the\u00a0Kennedy’ saga more than\u00a0Cape Cod<\/strong>, the New England peninsula. Hyannis<\/strong>, a very nice coastal town that really deserves a visit, was (and still is) the official Kennedy’s kingdom, you can not count the many photos of\u00a0John and Jackie taken here by boat, on the beach, in the garden … It was the place for Summer holidays, happy days, but also where the Kennedys\u00a0go after every tragedy and funeral<\/strong>, the Kennedy family has faced too much, so many that someone speak of a real curse.

\nWhat you can not\u00a0see is the famous Kennedy Compound, although there are several boat trips offering the chance to see it from the sea. After the election to presidency in 1960\u00a0JFK pronounced here his first speech!
\nDo not miss a fish and lobster dinner at one of the restaurants in the town’s marina.
