Londra<\/strong> \u00e8 sempre stata per me un luogo famigliare, un posto dove sentirmi a casa. Fin da bambina ho passato tantissimo tempo qui. Ultimamente per\u00f2 \u00e8 un po’ che\u00a0manco da Londra e come sempre ci sarebbero mille motivi per visitarla! Ecco l’ultimo della lista: tra 15 giorni un pezzo di Londra non sar\u00e0 pi\u00f9 sottosopra<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

London<\/strong> is always be for me a familiar place, where I can feel at home. Since I was a kid I spent there lots of time but now it’s been a while. There would be a tons of reason to visit London and this is just the last one of my list: 2 weeks till a piece of London will be no more upside down<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n

No, non siamo a King’s Cross, il Binario 9 e 3\/4 e Harry Potter non c’entrano\u2026 Siamo\u00a0al numero 20 di Blackfriars Road e questa \u00e8 un’installazione<\/strong> dell’artista inglese\u00a0Alex Chinneck<\/strong><\/a>: “Miner on the moon”. Ha invertito lo scenario architettonico a cui siamo abituati mettendo a testa in gi\u00f9 la facciata di un edificio.<\/p>\n

No, this is not King’s Cross, no platform 9 3\/4, Harry Potter is not related to this\u2026 This is the\u00a020 di Blackfriars Road, it’s an installation<\/strong> by the british artist Alex Chinneck<\/a><\/strong>: “Miner on the moon”. Inverting\u00a0the familiar architectural scenery and narrative of southwark, he turned the fa\u00e7ade of an existing building completely upside down.<\/em><\/p>\n

Non \u00e8 la prima volta che Alex Chinneck gioca con la percezione visiva nel contesto urbano<\/strong>: sempre sua \u00e8 “From the knees of my nose to the belly of my toes” a Margate, dove la facciata dell’edificio sembra essere scivolato via. Questi suoi interventi sono realizzati su edifici abbandonati o in disuso<\/strong> come una seconda pelle, con l’accordo che il tutto verr\u00e0 smantellato una volta che l’edificio sar\u00e0 venduto, restaurato o demolito. E cos\u00ec fra 15 giorni sar\u00e0 la fine della casa a testa in gi\u00f9 di Blackfriars Road. Chi pu\u00f2 vada a vederla prima che sparisca!<\/p>\n

This is not the first time Alex Chinneck plays with\u00a0architectural manipulation<\/strong>:\u00a0“From the knees of my nose to the belly of my toes” is another his installation in Margate, the fa\u00e7ade \u00a0of the building seems slid down. He realizes his installation working on abandoned buildings<\/strong> like a second skin. Everything will be dismantle when the building would be renovate or sold or demolish. This is what will happen in 15 days in Blackfriars Road. If any of you will be in London in time, don’t miss it!<\/em><\/p>\n

Sempre sua anche l’allestimento a Covent Garden<\/strong> di qualche mese fa “Take My Lightning but Don’t Steal My Thunder ” dove uno degli ingressi\u00a0di Covent Garden sembrava essersi spezzato e galleggiasse nell’aria. Interventi sempre a livello architettonico che con ironia<\/strong> cambiano la nostra percezione del reale.<\/p>\n
