Ciao dicembre<\/strong>! Eccoci qui! Un attimo fa era settembre e pensavo a come raccontarvi delle Hawaii<\/a> (giuro che i post arriveranno, sono davvero senza scuse ma non immaginate quante foto devo\u00a0passare in rassegna!) ed eccoci in un baleno a Natale! Ma come \u00e8 possibile che questi mesi siano volati cos\u00ec velocemente? Comunque sia, ci siamo, oggi \u00e8 il primo dicembre, bisogna attrezzarsi ed entrare nel mood natalizio<\/strong>! Primo passo per il count down natalizio: il calendario dell’Avvento<\/strong>! Ecco un semplice DIY<\/strong> da fare magari con i bambini, divertente e colorato, con grandi possibilit\u00e0 di personalizzarlo come pi\u00f9 vi piace! Un calendario foresta-incantata!<\/p>\n

Hello December<\/strong>! Here we are! Few minutes ago was September and I was wondering about how could I tell you about Hawaii<\/a> (I swear I’ll post very soon, I am really unforgivable but you cannot imagine how photos I have to go through!) and now it’s Christmas! How could it be possible? Time flies so quickly! Anyway, here we are, today is December the 1st, we have to organize and enter into the Christmas mood<\/strong>! First thing first the Christmas count-down: the Advent calendar<\/strong>! This is an easy DIY<\/strong>, you can also do it with kids. It’s fun and colorful and you really can personalize \u00a0as you like! An enchanted forest calendar!<\/em><\/p>\n

Me lo sono immaginato cos\u00ec: ogni giorno un alberello<\/strong> diverso, colorato e decorato<\/strong>, andr\u00e0 a scandire i giorni che mancano al Natale. Ma per non lasciare nell’attesa la nostra foresta spoglia, ho pensato a dei mini alberelli che come per magia cresceranno uno al giorno. Per realizzarlo serve:

\ncartoncini colorati
\ntrapano
\ntaglierino
\nforbici
\nstuzzicadenti
\ncolla<\/p>\n

Every day a colorful and decorated tree<\/strong> will celebrate the day in the Christmas count-down. In the meanwhile there will be other little trees that one by one will “grow up”! In this way the forest will never be bare. This is what you need:<\/em>

Per prima cosa bisogna pensare alla base. Ho usato lo stesso pezzo di legno (che altro non \u00e8 che un pezzo del nostro parquet) che avevo utilizzato come\u00a0base nel progetto dei soffioni giganti<\/a>. L’ho colorato velocemente con della tempera bianca. Una volta asciugata la tempera ho deciso dove fare i buchi. Detto cos\u00ec sembra semplice ma io sono famosa\u00a0per la mia incredibile capacit\u00e0 di complicarmi la vita e cos\u00ec dopo aver scelto i colori dei cartoncini volevo che la foresta non fosse tutta uguale ma che ci fossero alberi pi\u00f9 piccoli e altri pi\u00f9 grandi. Mi sono giocata cos\u00ec l’aiuto del marito ingegnere<\/strong> per procedere in modo razionale! Ecco fatto uno schema colore e decise le misure. Niente paura: se scegliete meno variabili e siete meno complicati non serve l’ingegnere<\/strong>! I mie alberelli sono triangoli che variano dai 3 ai 4 cm di base, con altezze da 5,5 a 8 cm. Ho scelto colori freddi e chiari, tranne che per Natale, che ovviamente \u00e8 rosso!<\/p>\n

First thing: the base. I used the same wooden base I used for the giant Dandelion project<\/a> (it’s a piece of our parquet). I’ve painted it with some white paint. When it’s dry we can think where drill the\u00a0holes. Sounds easy but I have the\u00a0ability of complicate my life: I didn’t want a regular forest, I wanted some tree smaller\u00a0and other bigger. I used my secret weapon – my-engineer-husband<\/strong>, and we made the perfect plan going on\u00a0in a very logical way! I had a plan for colors and another one for measures! No panic: if you are less complicated than me it will be super easy and you will not require the help of an engineer<\/strong>! My trees are 3\/4 cm x 5,5\/8 cm high. I’ve chosen pastel\u00a0colors except for Christmas because it’s always red for me!<\/em><\/p>\n

E’ la volta quindi dei buchi<\/strong> realizzati con il trapano e una punta molto sottile. Ho preparato tutti gli alberi con il cartoncino colorato<\/strong>. Sugli alberelli pi\u00f9 piccoli,\u00a0bianchi, che cederanno il posto giorno per giorno agli alberi colorati, ho scritto a mano i numeri corrispondenti (per rendere pi\u00f9 semplice sapere dove mettere i singoli giorni\u2026 perch\u00e9 volevo anche che la mia foresta crescesse non solo armoniosamente ma anche in modo “spontaneo”!). Per quanto riguarda gli alberi colorati definitivi ho \u00a0ritagliato i numeri da del cartoncino bianco. Anche le decorazioni degli alberi le ho realizzate con il cartoncino bianco ritagliando forme casuali e cercando di farli tutti diversi.<\/p>\n

Drill holes<\/strong> with a very thin drill bit. I’ve made all the triangles-trees with colored cardboards<\/strong>. I’ve wrote the day with a pencil on the smallest ones. They\u00a0will give a way to bigger trees every day one by one (in this way I will also know easily where I have to “plant” the colored ones\u2026 I wanted the forest grow up harmoniously and “natural”!). To decorate the colored trees I’ve cut out numbers and various shapes from white cardboards making everyone different from others.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

E’ il momento quindi di dare un tronco<\/strong> a ogni albero e cos\u00ec con un pochino di colla a caldo ho unito gli stuzzicadenti ai cartoncini decorati.<\/p>\n

Solitamente nel\u00a0calendario dell’Avvento ogni giorno si trova una\u00a0piccola sorpresina o un dolcetto. Questo Natale per me sar\u00e0 un po’ speciale<\/strong>, molte cose stanno succedendo e cambiando e quindi piuttosto che un cioccolatino o regalino vorrei un “pensiero”, una frase da portare con me tutto il giorno<\/strong>, da tenere bene a mente! E quindi il mio calendario dell’Avvento quest’anno sar\u00e0 quasi un calendario motivazionale<\/strong>! Ho stampato delle frasi, ritagliate, arrotolate e fermate da un filo rosso. Ho incollato poi queste piccole pergamene al tronco degli alberi. Ogni giorno prima di “piantare” l’albero nella sua posizione srotoler\u00f2 la pergamena e mi lascer\u00f2 ispirare dalla frase del giorno. Credo sia un bellissimo modo per iniziare la giornata! Mi piace l’idea di condividere con voi le mie avventure e quindi ogni giorno poster\u00f2 la frase che trover\u00f2, magari ispirer\u00e0 anche qualcuno di voi!<\/p>\n

Usually in the Advent calendar you find every day a little surprise or a candy. This Christmas will be special for me<\/strong>, many things and changes are going, for this reason I prefer a good advise, inspiring words<\/strong>, instead of a candy, to take with me all day long<\/strong>! For this reason my Advent Calendar this year will be a sort of inspiring calendar<\/strong>! I’ve printed\u00a024 good sentences, I’ve cut and rolled up them tying with a red thread. I’ve attached\u00a0these little rolls to the “log” of my trees with just a little bit of glue. Every day before \u00a0“plant” the tree of the day I will unroll it and I will read the inspiring sentence. I think this could be a great way to start the day! I like to share with you my adventures and so every day I will post the sentence of the day, I hope that someone else could be inspire from that!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
