E’ un p\u00f2 che ve ne volevo parlare e ultimamente li vedo un po’ ovunque: i paraventi Opto di Col\u00e8<\/strong> del duo Lorenz+Kaz<\/strong>. Belli e divertenti,\u00a0cornici in legno irregolari<\/strong> e pannelli in metallo tagliati, o meglio “ricamati”, al laser<\/strong>. Il richiamo \u00e8 all’arte della Bauhaus<\/strong>, in particolare ai fotogrammi e alle fotografie\u00a0di Lazlo Moholy Nagy<\/strong>. Sembra di vedere i colori dei dipinti di Moholy Nagy combinati con le geometrie delle sue fotografie.<\/p>\n

I wanted to talk about these Opto screens by Col\u00e8<\/strong>, designed by Lorenz+Kaz<\/strong> studio, from a \u00a0while, and lately I see them pretty everywhere. They are cool and fun with wooden frames, irregular geometry<\/strong> and metal panels laser cut<\/strong>. Opto screens are inspired by the Bauhaus art<\/strong>, in particular by Lazlo Moholy Nagy<\/strong> photograms and pictures. Seems that Lorenz+Kaz mixed colors from Moholy Nagy paintings and geometries from his pictures.<\/em><\/p>\n

I pannelli sono combinabili<\/strong> e in toni pastelli<\/strong> o in nero<\/strong>, essenziali e minimali. Non si pensa spesso ai paraventi in situazioni quotidiane ma in realt\u00e0 sono una soluzione davvero polifunzionale e trasformista<\/strong>. Aiutano a dividere lo spazio, ad organizzarlo ma sono anche decorativi e possono nascondere molto!<\/p>\n

Combining\u00a0panels<\/strong>\u00a0in pastel colors<\/strong> or black<\/strong>, very essential and minimal. I don’t think usually of screens in daily use but they\u00a0could be a very interesting and useful solution<\/strong>. Screens helps separating and organizing space, they also can be ornamental and can help hiding a lot behind them!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Lorenz+Kaz<\/strong> \u00e8 uno studio milanese formato da due designer tedeschi – Catharina Lorenz and Steffen Kaz<\/strong> – ma ormai italiani da adozione. Vi parler\u00f2 di loro perch\u00e9 sono davvero bravi! Hanno uno stile ibrido che possiamo chiamare “nordico-italiano<\/strong>“!<\/p>\n

Lorenz+Kaz<\/strong> is a milanese studio founded by two German designers –\u00a0Catharina Lorenz and Steffen Kaz<\/strong> – both\u00a0living and working in Italy. I will tell you more about them because I really like their works. Their design has\u00a0a sort of\u00a0hybrid \u201cnordic- italian\u201d style<\/strong>!<\/em><\/p>\n
