\nIeri vi ho detto che Milano \u00e8 bellissima, oggi Roma mi ha schiaffeggiato in pieno ricordandomi chi \u00e8 la Roma capitale!
\nLa Roma antica, la Roma barocca. Non so cosa sia a rendere qualsiasi angolo della citt\u00e0 inequivocabile<\/strong>: non ci si pu\u00f2 confondere con nessun’altra citt\u00e0! Cos’\u00e8 che rende Roma cos\u00ec “Roma”? L’intonaco arancio? I balconi sempre fioriti? Le palme? I pini marittimi che subito mi fanno venire in mente vedute da Gran Tour di dipinti antichi? Non sono riuscita a darmi una risposta, mi aiutate?<\/p>\n

24 hours in Rome<\/strong> walking around like a tourist: amazing!<\/em>
\nYesterday I told you that Milan is beautiful, today Rome slapped me across the face reminding me who is the capital!\u00a0<\/em>
\nThe Ancient Rome, the Baroque Rome. I cannot say what is the “Roman” element that you can recognize immediately!<\/strong> Can it be the orange plaster? The always blooming terraces? The palm trees? The maritime pines that remind me ancient paintings of the Grand Tour? I really don’t know! Would you help me to answer to this big question?<\/em><\/p>\n

Da Villa Torlonia al Tevere<\/strong> passando da Porta Pia<\/strong>, il Quirinale<\/strong>, i Fori<\/strong> e piazza Navona<\/strong>, Bernini vs Borromini<\/strong>, forever and ever<\/em>… Tante, tantissimi posti visitati con le amiche quando studiavamo storia dell’arte! Bellissimo! Ho gli occhi pieni di una bellezza disarmante!
\n\u00c8 anche stata finalmente l’occasione per passare un bellissimo pomeriggio con la mia amica Vale, romana d’adozione, che mi ha scorrazzato in giro in motorino proprio come in Vacanze romane! Abbiamo pranzato a Trastevere, visto Roma dall’alto da Villa Borghese e dal Giardino degli aranci\u2026 una giornata piena di bellezza!<\/p>\n

From Villa Torlonia<\/strong> to the Tiber river<\/strong> through Porta Pia<\/strong>, the Quirinale<\/strong>, Fori<\/strong> and piazza Navona<\/strong>, Bernini vs Borromini<\/strong>, forever and ever… So many places I visited with my friends when we were\u00a0studying Art! Amazing, my eyes are full of beauty!<\/em>
\nThis was also the chance to meet my dear friend Valentina who lives here from a while. She scampered me around with her scooter just as in the “Vacanze romane” movie!<\/em>
\nWe had lunch in Trastevere and we caught amazing view of Rome from Villa Borghese and Giardino degli aranci\u2026 an amazing day!<\/em><\/p>\n
