Un anno esatto fa<\/strong> io e Filippo<\/strong> eravamo a Los Angeles<\/strong>, prima tappa del nostro viaggio verse le Hawaii! (Tecnicamente la seconda tappa, visto che tutto \u00e8 iniziato a Dusseldorf! Lo sapete ormai che noi la prendiamo larga!).<\/p>\n

Exactly one year<\/strong> ago\u00a0Filippo and I<\/strong> were\u00a0in Los Angeles<\/strong>, first stop of hour way to Hawaii! (Technically it was the second stop because everything started from Dusseldorf! You know that we prefer the long way!)<\/em><\/p>\n

Era la seconda volta che ci andavamo, siamo rimasti 3 giorni<\/strong> e poi siamo partiti in macchina verso nord e abbiamo percorso la\u00a0Highway\u00a0numero 101, il Big Sur, una delle strane panoramiche pi\u00f9 belle del mondo!<\/strong> Ve ne parler\u00f2 nei prossimi giorni!<\/p>\n

Questa seconda volta L.A. mi \u00e8 piaciuta tantissimo!<\/strong> Al primo giro devo dire che non \u00e8 stato proprio amore a prima vista\u2026 \u00e8 davvero molto lontana dai nostri canoni europei, anche parlando di distanze. Ci si deve sempre muovere in macchina e le distanze sono incredibili. Non \u00e8 una citt\u00e0 qualunque, \u00e8 gigante<\/strong>! \u00c8 grande pi\u00f9 o meno come la Lombardia! \u00c8 come se fosse un insieme di citt\u00e0<\/strong> che danno vita a zone con spiriti totalmente diversi! Bisogna un po’ capirla!<\/p>\n

Questa seconda volta non avevamo l’ansia di doverla visitare “tutta” e quindi \u00e8 stato tutto molto rilassato e\u00a0in ottima compagnia<\/strong>! Per puro caso altre due coppie di nostri amici erano a L.A. negli stessi giorni! \u00c8 stato meraviglioso incontrarsi con loro l\u00e0! Anche perch\u00e9 non ci vediamo mai qui a casa!<\/p>\n

Venice Beach!<\/strong> Sento tante persone a cui non piace ma bisogna andare oltre la Muscle Beach e i tipi da spiaggia! Venice Beach fu creata<\/strong> da Abbot Kinney, industriale del tabacco, nel 1900<\/strong>. Voleva dare una sorta di “rinascimento” culturale nel Sud della California e fece costruire 11 km di canali e import\u00f2 gondole e gondolieri dall’Italia!<\/strong> Purtroppo per\u00f2 il progetto non tenne presente delle maree e quindi la zona ebbe sempre problemi di “acque sporche”. Nel 1927 molti canali vennero coperti ma ancora oggi ne rimane una piccola parte dove \u00e8 bellissimo passeggiare tra ville incredibili!<\/p>\n

This was our second time there. We spent there\u00a03 amazing days<\/strong>\u00a0and then we went North along the Highway 101, the\u00a0Big Sur, one of the most amazing street in the world!<\/strong>\u00a0I will tell more about it in next few days.<\/em><\/p>\n

This time I love L.A.!<\/strong>\u00a0First time I didn’t like it so much\u2026 it’s really different from European standards\u2026\u00a0it’s huge<\/strong>. You have to take the car wherever you have to go! It is a sort of\u00a0mix of different cities<\/strong>, everyone with a very specific character! You have to understand it and then you’ll love it!<\/em><\/p>\n

This time we took it very easy and relaxed<\/strong>! We also were in\u00a0beautiful company<\/strong>: we met there two couples of friends! It was amazing and super fun!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Venice Beach!<\/strong>\u00a0Lot of people don’t like it but you have to walk further the Muscle Beach and beach boys! Venice Beach\u00a0was founded<\/strong>\u00a0by the tobacco industrialist Abbot Kinney\u00a0in 1900<\/strong>. He wanted re-create Venice here:\u00a0they created 11 km of canals and took gondolas and gondoliers from Italy<\/strong>. Unfortunately they failed the project because the tides and had lots of problem with dark waters. In 1927 the majority of canals was closed but today there are still few canals where have very nice walk between beautiful houses!<\/em><\/p>\n

Siamo passati a salutare il Disney Concert Hall<\/strong> progettato da Ghery, abbiamo gironzolato per Beverly Hills<\/strong>, Hollywood<\/strong> e vie con le palme, negozi, fatto shopping<\/strong>\u2026 super relax!<\/p>\n

Il mio posto del cuore a L.A.<\/strong> (oltre al muro rosa, ovvio!)? Il Griffith Observatory<\/strong>! Dentro un parco immenso, da qui si gode una vista mozzafiato su tutta Los Angeles! \u00c8 vero che \u00e8 una citt\u00e0 di cemento, con strade giganti a 8 corsie tra le pi\u00f9 affollate al mondo, ma \u00e8 anche incredibile come sia circondata dalla natura selvaggia! Il posto perfetto per vedere il tramonto!
\nDa qui partono anche tantissime passeggiate nella natura molto belle e anche il sentiero che arriva fino alla scritta “Hollywood”! La prima cosa che voglio fare al prossimo giro a L.A.!<\/p>\n

My favorite spot in L.A.<\/strong> (beyond the pink wall of course!)? The Griffith Observatory<\/strong>! It’s in a huge park where you can have an amazing view of the entire Los Angeles! L.A. it’s a city full of buildings and traffic but it’s awesome how there are places like this of true nature! This is the perfect place at sunset!\u00a0<\/em>
\nIn the Griffith Park there are many trials for nice walks in the nature and there is also the one to the Hollywood sign! This is the first thing I want to do my next time in L.A.!<\/em><\/p>\n
