Forse il primo evento incredibilmente drammatico a cui ho assistito da &#8216;adulta&#8217;. Il primo nella storia di cui gli uomini sono stati veri spettatori voyeristici. \u00c8 incredibile accettare che sia accaduto veramente, anche oggi, 14 anni dopo.<\/p>\n<p>A marzo sono stata con la mia famiglia a New York, pochissimi giorni prima che il\u00a0nuovo One World Trade Center fosse inaugurato. La ferita nella citt\u00e0 \u00e8 ormai scolpita nelle due voragini che sono state le Torri Gemelle, il silenzio e il rispetto \u00e8 palpabile, ma la forza dell&#8217;America si sente forte e chiara. Mi sono commossa leggendo questa frase sui tendoni che chiudono l&#8217;ultimo cantiere ancora in corso: <strong>&#8220;Hello tomorrow, we never forget what has gone before. Yet our eyes have always been on the possibilities ahead.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>God Bless America.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>September 11th, 2001. I&#8217;ll never forget this day in my entire life.<\/strong>\u00a0This was probably the first very tragic event I experienced in my &#8216;adult&#8217; life. The first event in history in which men were eye witnesses. It&#8217;s quite impossible accept that this truly happened even today, 14 years later.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><i>I was in New York City in March with my family, just few days before the opening of the new\u00a0One World Trade Center. There is a scar in the heart of Manhattan where there were the Twin Towers, the silence and the respect there are real but you can feel loud and clear the\u00a0strength of America\u00a0too. I was touched by this billboard on the last construction\u00a0site still open: <strong>&#8220;Hello tomorrow, we never forget what has gone before.
