Instagram<\/strong> ha annunciato<\/a>\u00a0che\u00a0<\/strong>le foto nel feed (ndr: il feed \u00e8 la \u201chome\u201d di Instagram dove trovi tutti gli ultimi post delle persone che segui) di ogni utente non saranno pi\u00f9 ordinate cronologicamente ma anche in base a un nuovo algoritmo<\/strong>: lo scopo \u00e8 dare rilevanza ai post pi\u00f9 interessanti.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L\u2019idea nasce dall\u2019analisi del comportamento degli utenti di Instagram. In media, infatti, ogni utente vede solamente il 30% dei post di chi segue<\/strong>, mentre si perde il restante 70%, che vengono annegati troppo in basso nel proprio feed.<\/p>\n

Per questo, Instagram ha deciso di modificare l\u2019ordine con cui vengono organizzati i post nel feed instagram di ciascun utente, mostrando prima le immagine \u201cpi\u00f9 interessanti\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tra gli\u00a0utenti di Instagram, per un attimo \u00e8 stato sconcerto, dubbio e paura. Subito \u00e8 nato l\u2019hashtag #keepinstagramchronological<\/strong> e ieri il mio feed era letteralmente invaso di preghiere di attivazione delle notifiche in modo da tenere vive certe \u201crelazioni\u201d su Instagram.<\/p>\n

\"Instagram<\/p>\n

S\u00ec perch\u00e9 si sviluppa una sorta di amicizia\/amore\/ossessione per certi account, vero? Ci sono persone che seguo e a cui mi sono affezionata senza averle mai viste nella vita reale. Gente che vive dall\u2019altra parte del mondo alle cui vicende personali sono praticamente addicted\u2026 uuuh che figata di vacanza! Ah, si sposa! \u00c8 incinta! Wow le scarpe nuove!<\/em> \u2026 insomma, \u00e8 la magia dei social, condividere attimi \u201cprivati\u201d con il mondo intero!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tornando a noi, inizialmente mi sono lasciata trascinare dal panico serpeggiante nei miei feed e ho pubblicato anch\u2019io un \u201cturn on notifications\u201d! Poi per\u00f2, ho iniziato a informarmi e ho iniziato a intravedere del buono anche in questo cambiamento<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Instagram<\/p>\n

Partiamo dal fatto che Instagram dichiara apertamente:<\/p>\n

\u201cAll the posts will still be there, just in a different order\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Quindi, niente panico!<\/p>\n

Nessun post verr\u00e0 nascosto<\/strong>, cambier\u00e0 invece l\u2019ordine<\/strong>, che non sar\u00e0 pi\u00f9 quindi esclusivamente cronologico, ma basato anche su una stima, fatta dal nuovo algoritmo, di quanto ciascun contenuto del mio feed pu\u00f2 essere interessante per me.<\/p>\n

Personalmente sono ottimista, anzi mi sembra un\u2019occasione per puntare ancora di pi\u00f9 sulla qualit\u00e0 dei post su Instagram<\/strong>. Ecco l\u2019idea che mi sono fatta della situazione:<\/p>\n

Cosa pu\u00f2 andare bene:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Se tutto va come deve, non mi perder\u00f2 pi\u00f9 i post dei miei Instagrammer preferiti.<\/strong> In ogni caso, continuando a scorrere il mio feed, ci saranno sempre tutti come prima.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Per le foto che posto: i miei follower che sono interessati a quel che faccio, riusciranno a vederle indipendentemente dal momento in cui le ho postate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Se Instagram riuscir\u00e0 a mantenere le promesse, vincer\u00e0 sempre di pi\u00f9 la qualit\u00e0<\/strong> del contenuto rispetto alle tecniche di positioning o all\u2019uso tattico di tag.<\/p>\n

Cosa pu\u00f2 andare male:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Se il contenuto dei post non \u00e8 di qualit\u00e0, oppure (e questo \u00e8 il grande rischio) se il nuovo algoritmo di Instagram lo penalizza, alcuni miei follower potrebbero non vederlo perch\u00e9 viene posizionato troppo in basso nel loro feed.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Instagram potrebbe iniziare a far pagare un miglior posizionamento dei post nei feed…<\/p>\n

Quindi: niente panico!<\/strong> Cerchiamo di vedere insieme cosa succede con il nuovo \u201camico\u201d\u2026 l\u2019algoritmo di Instagram! Fatemi sapere come cosa ne pensate<\/strong> e come vi trovate, come vi compaiono i miei post, se mi trovate pi\u00f9 o meno di prima\u2026 vediamo insieme quali cambiamenti very\u00a0porter\u00e0!<\/p>\n

Instagram announced<\/a> that, starting from today, photos in the feed<\/strong> (the Instagram “home” where you can scroll all the latest posts from people you follow) will no longer be ordered chronologically but also based on a new algorithm<\/strong>: the aim is to give relevance to the most interesting posts.<\/em><\/p>\n

The idea comes from the analysis of the behavior of Instagram users. In fact, each user only sees 30% of the posts of the ones who follows<\/strong>, the remaining 70% is lost buried in the feed.<\/em><\/p>\n

For this reason, Instagram decided to change the order of posts in feed<\/strong>, showing first the “most interesting” images.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Immediately among Instagrammers was chaos and the hashtag #keepinstagramchronological<\/strong> spreaded around. Yesterday my feed was invaded by people begging for the activation of notifications.<\/em><\/p>\n

At the beginning I let myself involved by the panic and I published a “turn on notifications” too! But then I tryed to understand what it\u2019s really going on<\/strong> and I started seeing the good side of this change.<\/em><\/p>\n

Instagram clearly states: “All the posts will still be there, just in a different order”.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

So, don\u2019t panic!\u00a0No posts will be hidden<\/strong>, however the order will change, the feed will not only be in chronological order but also based on the algorithm evaluation.<\/em><\/p>\n

I am kind of optimistic, it seems to me an opportunity to focus even more on the quality<\/strong> of the post. This is what it\u2019s going on:<\/em><\/p>\n

Bright side:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

– If everything goes as it should, I will not lose posts from my favorite Instagrammers<\/strong> any more, I should find what I love most before, and scrolling further I will find everything else.<\/em><\/p>\n

– My followers, who are interested in what I do, will see my posts, despite the time I posted them.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

– If Instagram keeps its promises, quality contents will win<\/strong> on technical positioning or on tag strategy.<\/em><\/p>\n

What can go wrong:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

– If there is no quality in posts, or (and this is the great risk) the new Instagram algorithm penalizes them, some of my followers won\u2019t see my posts because they are located too far down in their feed.<\/em><\/p>\n

– Instagram could start charging for a better positioning in the feed<\/em><\/p>\n
