Last week I spent a beautiful afternoon in London in an architecture tour walking around the City and admiring the Foster’s ‘Gherkin’ (or Swiss Re Building, 30 St Mary Axe) and the Lloyd’s building designed by Richard Rogers – the co-architect of the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Near these giants I’ve found a real London pearl: the Leadenhall Market, an antique market in Victorian style. It’s here since 1321 and it was a location for the Harry Potter’s movie!

Tutta Londra a 360°!

Sky Garden is a bothanical garden on the 35 floor of a new skyscraper (20 Fenchurch Street)! The building is called ‘Walkie-Talkie’ because of its unique shape. It’s a huge structure but when you approach it you can admire the real ‘fan’ shape. It’s an outstanding place and with free admission! Just one thing: you have to book your visit in advance on the Skygarden website.
Another option to visit it is going to the Fenchurch Restaurant.

The terrace is amazing, what a view! There is also a brasserie, sofas and tables where you can spend some relaxing time! You’ll have the entire London at your feet!
