Today I would like to introduce you a real special designer: the Portuguese Luís César Nogueira Giestas (1988). What did he design? Some stuff but among all he literally designed himself and his emotions! He defined 56 emotions with colors:

He recorded his emotions on the hour for 100 days each time and documented them in a series of three, color-coded diaries.
In the first one he registered his emotions at every hours.

In the second one he divided each page in two and he displayed on the top half what he expressed and in the other half what he felt. He seems a sincere person, colors are quite aligned.

In the third diary he divided each page in three: what he expected 24 hours before, what he felt in the moment and what he remembered to have felt 24 hours later.

È significativo vedere come certe emozioni cambino nel tempo! …

It’s really meaningful how colors and emotions change. Giestas is a man… who knows how it could be the color-diary of a woman!
These are not the first Giestas’ genius performance: I love his notebooks!

Il libro delle bugie. In cosa si trasforma? In dadi truccati!

Ci proviamo? Condividete il risultato usando l’hashtag #emotionsincolors!

It’s our turn: let’s try to fix our emotions on paper too! Using paper and pencil or pc, 12 hours for each day!  Share it using the hashtag #emotionsincolors!
