La scorsa settimana è stata presentata la 54esima edizione del Salone del Mobile che invaderà letteralmente Milano da martedì 14 a domenica 19 aprile. Inutile dire che non vedo l’ora… ma molto deve accadere prima di questa data… e che progetti ci sono!! Vi racconterò tutto molto presto, non temete! Dicevamo, il Salone del Mobile sta arrivando! Siamo a meno di 2 mesi! Mentre il Fuori Salone rimane misterioso fino quasi all’ultimo sui Saloni possiamo già sapere qualcosa. In Fiera quest’anno Euroluce e SaloneUfficio – che da quest’anno si chiama Workspace 3.0 – affiancheranno il Salone dell’Arredo e il Salone Satellite che quest’anno diventa maggiorenne con la sua 18esima edizione.
Last week they presented the 54th edition of the Salone del Mobile. It will be from Tuesday 14th to Sunday 19th April all around Milan. I can’t wait of course… but lots of thing are going to happen before this date… and what project I have!! I will tell you everything very soon, don’t worry! The Salone del Mobile is coming in less then 2 months! While Fuori Salone will be a mystery until few days before its opening, we can know something more about what is going to happen in the Milan Fairgrounds. This year Euroluce and SaloneUfficio – from this year it will be named Workspace 3.0 – will be at the side of the Salone dell’Arredo and Salone Satellite. Salone Satellite this year comes of ages being at its 18th edition.
Ospite d’onore di Workspace 3.0 sarà Michele De Lucchi con l’allestimento “La Passeggiata“. Bello quando dice che è quasi più importante il percorso che si fa dall’ingresso dello spazio lavorativo alla scrivania che la scrivania in sè. E’ vero, ogni passo può essere occasione di ispirazione. Certamente bisogna creare e pensare spazi in grado di ispirare ma bisogna anche avere persone attente, curiose e in grado di stupirsi e osservare! Tutto molto bello il parlare di colori, temperature, divisione degli spazi, ma… la mia mente va subito ai celeberrimi uffici di Google. Sono anni che i colori, l’idea di divertimento creativo, di condivisione degli spazi, di accoglienza e intrattenimento sono il loro mantra. Non serviva certo Workspace 3.0 per darci queste rivelazioni. Sono contenta però che magari anche gli uffici più tradizionali a cubicoli possano avere un respiro più ampio.
Michele De Lucchi will be the guest of honor of Workspace 3.0 with a huge installation “The Walk“. I appreciate very much when he says that is quite more important the way to your workspacethan the workspace itself because there you can find an inspiration. Of course it’s a beautiful idea create workspace able to get inspirations but is also important having people can be inspired! Everything is very interesting: colors, temperatures, spaces… but I cannot avoid to think of Google offices. They are famous for these reasons: colors, creative entertainment, sharing spaces… We do not need Workspace 3.0 to teach all of this. I am surely happy than in this way maybe also traditional workspaces can have more human and inspiring spaces.
Euroluce: Salone internazionale dell’Illuminazione. L’Unesco ha proclamato il 2015 come Anno internazionale della Luce e quindi Euroluce cade alla perfezione. Portabandiera dell’evento sarà la grande installazione luminosa “Favilla. Ogni luce una voce” dell’architetto Attilio Stocchi in piazza San Fedele, nel cuore di Milano. La spiegazione è molto misteriosa… black box… ispirata alle tragedie greche… non pensate subito al peggio, si intende che sarà divisa in episodi allo stesso modo! Questa è l’unica immagine che ho potuto trovare del progetto… non ci resta che aspettare!
Euroluce, the exhibition devoted to excellence in the lighting world. Unesco declared 2015 as the Year of Light, Euroluce match perfectly with this! The flagship event in San Fedele Square, few steps from the Duomo, will be “Favilla. To every light a voice“, an installation/event by architect Attilio Stocchi telling the story of and exploring the essence of light. They talked about this in a very mysteriously way… a black box inspired by greek tragedy… This is the only image I could find about the project… we have to wait and see it!
Salone Satellite. L’Expo aprirà a Milano 15 giorni dopo il Salone del Mobile e così il Salone Satellite ci introduce al tema “Feed the Planet” con l’analogo tema “Pianeta vita“. Ci saranno progetti speciali e allestimenti declinati a tema. Sicuramente la parte più fresca e under 35 della fiera.
Salone Satellite. Expo will start exactly 15 days after the Salone del Mobile, so the Salone Satellite will introduce us to the Expo theme “Feed the Planet” with the dedicated theme “Life Planet”. The will be for sure the younger and fresh part of the Salone del Mobile Fair.
In conferenza stampa si è parlato anche di un’app: InItaly che intende mostrare il “saper fare” degli italiani con 120 video sulla storia delle aziende tra imprenditoria e artigianato. Verranno anche mostrate 5 soluzioni di interni in 5 stili diversi caratterizzati dall’italianità… per il momento aria fritta. Vedremo. Sono molto scettica su questo “Italians do it better”.
Durante il Salone del Mobile inaugurerà anche a Palazzo Reale una mostra su Leonardo da Vinci, la più grande mai fatta… Per ora segnamoci la data!
During the press conference they presented also an App, InItaly, a virtual exploration of Italian know- how and uniqueness and the production processes behind each object. It also will be possible visiting virtually 5 apartments done up in five completely different styles. I am very puzzled about this, I’m quite skeptical about this “Italians do it better” mood.
During the Salone del Mobile there will be also a big art event: the Leonardo da Vinci’s exhibition will opening at Palazzo Reale, it should be the greatest Leonardo’s exhibition of all times. For the moment let’s save the date!
