Molti sono i filmati molto interessanti, tra cui segnalo “Ettore Sottsass“, un’intervista-ritratto. Sottsass racconta di interessi e passioni, storie e sogni che prendono forma di oggetti e architetture.

Molto interessante deve essere “Casa Venini“, il racconto di una famiglia e di una azienda. La storia di un milanese, Paolo Venini, innamorato di Venezia e del vetro e di come è diventato sinonimo dell’arte vetraria. Le più grandi menti del design e dell’architettura si sono cimentate con la magia del vetro.
“Casa Venini” has to be very interesting. It’s a story about a family and a company. The love story between a milanese, Paolo Venini, and Venice and glass. His name has become the synonym of artistic glass. Most important designers and architectets worked with him and with the magic of the glass.
Bellissimo e sicuramente d’ispirazione deve essere il filmato “Achille Castiglioni. International Design Conference in Aspen”. Video amatoriale di una conferenza tenuta da Castiglioni ad Aspen guidata da Paola Antonelli – ora direttrice del Design del MoMA – nel 1989.
“Achille Castiglioni. International Design Conference in Aspen” has to be beautiful and surely inspiring. It is an amateur filming of a 1989 conference by Castiglioni in Aspen guided by Paola Antonelli – now Senior Curator of Design and Architecture Department of MoMA.
Consiglio anche caldamente “Mon oncle” di Jacques Tati. Un film del 1958 dove con umorismo viene mostrato il mondo del modernismo e delle nuove tecnologie.
